Little did I know that when I applied for funding to revisit Hillcrest Village in 2023, I would soon be switching to a career focused on sustainable energy projects like Hillcrest.

After successfully premiering the pilot to DS Birch Carlson, I wanted to find a way to keep the momentum going with my awesome cast and crew. The challenge of producing a 2-part cliffhanger follow-up episode as an independent filmmaker left me with one key way to move forward: break it up.
