Permission Granted

Independent film requires a budget, even with small budget projects like what I develop. I have been lucky enough to receive grant funding for my work, first as an emerging artist in 2016 and now as an advancing artist in 2019. The Southeastern Minnesota Arts Council (SEMAC) has granted me $5,000 to work on my upcoming short film, “The Dinner Party.”

My goals for this grant include paying my collaborators and paying myself. I will be working with professional colorist Jay Ness to mentor me at color grading and have commissioned an original score by Stephanie Henry.

I am proud of the work I have made up to this point and am looking forward to improving quality even further with these funds.
