COVID-19 made it difficult to make films. The uncertainty of the pandemic forced me to look to the outdoors as a shooting location, since it was safer and the team didn’t need to mask outside. This led me, alongside my composer Stephanie Henry, to think of a story that could take place in the woods near my house.
At this artist talkback I described my experience as the writer and director. I interviewed the team of artists who collaborated in the project, Heriberto Rosas, cinematographer, Daniel Edwins, cinematographer, Stephanie Henry, composer, and Birch Carlson, actor.
