When Life Hands You a DeLorean

Sometimes you need to take a chance on an opportunity that comes your way. A tricked-out DeLorean was going to be in my neighborhood in a few weeks’ time, and I worked with Paul Reiland and Kent McKinnis to put a story together just in time for a celebration of a significant historical event in Northfield, Minnesota.

At this artist talkback I discussed what it was like to write a screenplay, produce, cast, shotlist and edit the short film, Back to the Raid. We talked about the history of the story (for you non-Northfielders), the artistic process and how this production nearly fell through several times – but we persevered and made it happen.
